If you are a novice and looking for an easy trek to begin with then, the Spituk to Stok is the one for you. It is quite an easy trek and can be completed in 4 to 5 days. The trek is full of interesting scenarios including views of snow-capped mountains and a brush with the River Ganga. It will take you around 5 hours to reach a village located on the hills known as Rumbak, where you can rest before continuing with your journey. It will take you around 3 days of moderate trekking to reach the peak before beginning your dismount.
The Markha valley trek is one of the most popular treks in Ladakh. You can start your journey at Spituk and end it at the Shang Sumdo. You will have the chance to come face to face with some majestic views of both mountain ranges and valleys. It will take you around 8 days to complete the trip. You will pass by the Thiksey monastery on your way down, which is one of the most visited places in Ladakh.
The Parang la is easily the most scenic treks in Ladakh but also quite a difficult one to complete. You can begin from the Spiti valley and make your way to the Parang La pass. Once you cross that, you will have to cross the Mahe Bridge that oversees a brilliant view of the valley.
