Email Marketing Tips – Questions to Ask Before You Hire an Email Designer

You’ve determined that your current email newsletter isn’t doing you any favors and you’ve made the decision to find a professional designer to create a newsletter that will support your email marketing efforts, instead of hindering them. Excellent! ….but before you hire a designer, there are a few things to consider first. Is this a unique newsletter? Or do I want a template that I can use again and again?

This is probably the most important question. When you ask a designer to create an HTML email newsletter, that’s exactly what you get. You get the HTML code when it’s ready, and you send it to your contact list. .That’s fine, but what if you want to send another newsletter the following week? If you’re a programming genius, no problem, you just upload the HTML code and place your new content!

The problem occurs when you are not comfortable playing with the HTML code. Your designer won’t embed your new content for free unless you’re happy to pay them to edit your newsletter every time you want to send it out. one, then you may need to reconsider your approach. They are all different, and designing an email in one of them is a very different process than coding an external HTML email.
